Bethel Church has a vibrant Christian Education program focused primarily on Sunday mornings. We have classes for all ages, nursery through Adult at 9:45 a.m.
The children’s classes enjoy singing during opening time and share that joyful expression during worship several times each year. In their classes the children learn with all their senses engaged as teams of teachers share the good news of the gospel and the great stories of the Bible. Growing into the people God wants us to be is just one of the goals of our Christian Education experience.
The youth engage in Bible Study and service learning through a variety of experiences. They also have the opportunity to join in Sunday evening BYG time (Bethel Youth Group). The youth play together, serve Christ with joy, do mission work locally and beyond, and “stick up for Christ,” through their sticking ministry.
Adult classes take a variety of shapes during the years. We strive to meet folks where they are and grow in God’s grace. We have regular Bible Study, topical issues discussions, Christian ethics studies, and the list can go on. We bring our questions to the table and seek God’s word to us each time we gather. In addition to the regular Sunday morning time the Lenten season brings special studies with our brothers and sisters from the Crete Presbyterian Church and the Church of the Good Shepherd, (Roman Catholic). All are welcome.
Special Summer Sunday School -
This summer the childrens classes combine to experience some "Delicious Bible Stories". All lessons will take place in the Church Kitchen... or there abouts and will give your children an opportunity to celebrate Biblical foods (and some others as well) that they have helped prepare. Each food will accompany a story from either the Old or New Testament. We hope that each lesson will inspire our young chefs to grow and follow God in a deeper way. So, set your alarm clocks and meet us in the kitchen at 9:45 to see whats cookin'!
